Sarah Gati Joseph is a passionate adolescent youth sexual reproductive health rights (AYSRH) champion, mentor and a community development facilitator holding a Diploma in ECDE. She seeks to use her skills and expertise to enhance the livelihoods of the community she was born and raised in and globally. Ms. Gati currently holds the Projects Officer position at the Tunaweza Empowerment Organization where she is involved in the planning, facilitation and coordination of sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocacy activities within the organization. Previously, she served as the lead mentor and facilitator at the Nuru ya Mtoto and Ace Africa organization where she led a team of mentors, aided the training of mentors, facilitated AND meetings. She has also served as lead mentor and facilitator for the National Organization of Peer Educators (NOPE Kenya) where she monitored the mobilization of adolescent girls and young women and liaised with the ward office to conduct safe facilitation. As part of her role, she achieved economic strengthening and in-depth understanding of SRHR. She has undertaken training in Ending Female Genital Mutilation from the African Youth Virtual Academy, interlocking stabilized soil blocks building technology and computer literacy. Ms. Gati enjoys reading novels, mentoring the community, facilitating and preparing presentations.
